I feel like I m on a cruise ship and Captain Myke is at the helm. His whiticisms and ound make me feel at home if not uncomfortable. I recommend this establishment for people suck as myself from out of town who are looking for cheap drinks and escape from the sun if nothing more.

One of the best and the oldest venue in town for live music and drinks. The renovations after the infamous fire are complete and are a nice change of pace and imptoves its ability to host live bands from town, the region and National Acts. Athens has an excellent music scene and has been a hot bed for bands for decades now. Unfortunately they are the last of the old school live music venues in town. Unfortunately most of the down town bars are not exactly set up for concerts these days. Gone is the old Dugout Lounge, and others. Thankfully the Union has stepped up and is the largest and best place to listen to music and have a few drinks.
